Kinetic Customs website designed and built by WebOws Design

My biggest project · E-commerce

Kinetic Customs

Kinetic Customs sell a hammer the customer designs themselves. That needed stock down to the component and pricing that follows the customer around the world, and none of it comes out of the box - so I built it from scratch, then rebuilt the whole site around it.

What connects them is not industry or budget. In each case the website had to achieve something measurable rather than simply exist.

Brympton House website designed and built by WebOws Design

Luxury venue

Brympton House

Brympton House is a Grade I listed mansion in 33 acres of Somerset parkland, hired exclusively for weddings, corporate retreats and private parties. Couples choosing a venue at this level decide on the photography long before they read a word, so the site is built around it: full-width galleries of real weddings, video, and an interactive map that shows how the estate actually fits together. Event spaces and wedding packages have their own pages, and both the enquiry form and the brochure download are two clicks from anywhere on the site.

KW-PR website designed and built by WebOws Design

PR agency

KW-PR

KW Public Relations is a London agency covering press placement, event planning, influencer and celebrity work and creative direction, for brands most people would recognise. The site had to look like it belonged in that company. I built it editorial-style on Wix Studio, with a page per client that shows the campaign work rather than describing it, a services overview that stays short, and their social feeds running through the site so it never looks static between campaigns.

Seal Sustainability website designed and built by WebOws Design

Climate fintech

Seal Sustainability

Seal Sustainability is building sustainability infrastructure for automated systems, which puts AI, blockchain and climate science in the same sentence and makes the proposition hard to explain quickly. The site's real job was sequencing it: separate pages for the vision, the problem, the solution and the platform, so an investor reaches the technology already knowing why it needs to exist. Alongside that sit a governance section, a secure microsite for investors, a blog and a newsletter.

ConnectGo website designed and built by WebOws Design

Social enterprise

ConnectGo

ConnectGo is a social enterprise whose ValueScope platform helps funders, investors and delivery organisations collect and learn from social impact data. They sell to people who need convincing before they will give up half an hour for a walkthrough, so the site leads with credibility: product pages broken into demos, modules and use cases, the market opportunity set out plainly, and the founders and team shown rather than kept off the page. Pipedrive scheduling is wired in, so the walkthrough gets booked without leaving the site.

Leme Personal Therapy website designed and built by WebOws Design

Health & wellbeing

Leme Personal Therapy

Leme Personal Therapy is a massage, grooming and spa service for men, with studios in Marylebone and Shoreditch. Almost everyone who lands on the site is trying to do one thing, book a treatment at whichever studio is nearer, so the booking system and the two location pages carry it. Treatments are listed by category with what each one actually involves, the gallery and reviews are there for anyone who wants reassurance before committing, and WhatsApp covers the people who would rather ask a question than fill in a form.

Wyre Forest Spas website designed and built by WebOws Design

Retail

Wyre Forest Spas

Wyre Forest Spas sells hot tubs and swim spas from a showroom in Worcestershire. Nobody buys a hot tub online, they come in and sit in one, so the site is built to get people through the door rather than to take the sale. The range is browsable on the detail buyers actually compare on, installation and aftercare each get a proper page because that is the real worry rather than the price, there is a gallery of tubs installed in customers' own gardens, and booking a showroom visit is the call to action throughout.

Social Football Australia website designed and built by WebOws Design

Sport & community

Social Football Australia

Social Football Australia runs friendly, competitive nine-a-side games on weeknights at premium venues across Melbourne. Nobody has to join a team or commit to a season: you book a game, turn up and play. I redesigned and rebuilt the site around that one action. It carries venue listings organised by state and by ground, packages for individuals and groups, a junior football section, a franchise enquiry route for operators wanting to bring the format to a new city, and links straight through to their iOS and Android booking apps.

Unknown Warriors website designed and built by WebOws Design

Podcast & publishing

Unknown Warriors

Unknown Warriors is an understanding history podcast presented by Michael Baker, made up of two ten-part series that revisit the First and Second World Wars in the light of current scholarship rather than the narratives set at the anniversaries. I designed and built a site that treats a podcast as a body of work instead of a feed, with a dedicated page for each series, episode listings that hand listeners straight to the streaming platforms, an integrated blog for Michael's longer essays, a presenter page and a contact route for the questions the episodes provoke.

Citizens for Change website designed and built by WebOws Design

Research & design agency

Citizens for Change

Citizens for Change is a design and research agency that works with funders and delivery organisations to put young people at the centre of solving complex social problems. They had a great deal to explain and needed it to land with people who read proposals for a living. I designed and built a high-contrast, deliberately bold site that sets out their three differentiators, walks through their Youth Impact methodology and their Social Return on Investment work, and lays out the challenge, the opportunity cost and the projected gains, with partnership and portfolio, team and FAQ sections, newsletter sign-up and one clear route to a partnership conversation.

Grapple Air Mat website designed and built by WebOws Design

E-commerce

Grapple Air Mat

Grapple Air Mat sells professional-grade inflatable grappling mats for wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and MMA, founded by Jesse Bradbury, a six-time British Junior National and two-time British Senior National champion. I designed and built the shop from the ground up, with three mat sizes priced openly on the page, a separate route for schools and commercial buyers who buy differently to individuals, a founder's story that does the credibility work, and a detailed FAQ that answers the stability and setup questions which otherwise stop people ordering.

Simonsen and Czechura website designed and built by WebOws Design

Bespoke carpentry

Simonsen & Czechura

Simonsen & Czechura is a Copenhagen carpentry firm making bespoke kitchens, cabinetry and interior joinery to order, sold on Danish craftsmanship rather than a catalogue. The site is built to let the work speak first: full-width project photography, a portfolio gallery organised by project rather than product, and a materials section for the finishes and detailing a catalogue page can't show. A design meeting booking system and a downloadable design book carry the enquiry, and the three real addresses, a Charlottenlund showroom, a Copenhagen collaboration space and a Søborg production facility, are given equal billing to make the firm's scale obvious rather than implied.

Devine Timing OT website designed and built by WebOws Design

Paediatric therapy

Devine Timing Occupational Therapy

Devine Timing Occupational Therapy is a Gold Coast paediatric practice offering child-led, play-based therapy across home, clinic, school and community settings, alongside parent and educator coaching. Families arrive anxious about a child's development and need reassurance before they need a service list, so the site leads with a calm, sensory-considered look and feel and a plain explanation of what therapy actually involves. NDIS, Medicare and private funding routes are set out clearly rather than buried in an FAQ, and a free-consultation booking flow sits at the top of every page so the first step never has to be a phone call.

Pauline Mattia Photography website designed and built by WebOws Design

Family photography

Pauline Mattia Photography

Pauline Mattia is a Barcelona photographer shooting family, celebration, pregnancy and newborn sessions in a natural, cinematic style built around real moments rather than posed ones. The site's job is to sell that feeling before a single word is read, so it opens on full-bleed session photography and keeps the copy secondary throughout. English, Spanish and French versions serve Barcelona's genuinely multilingual client base without forking the site into separate builds, a free planning guide captures visitors who aren't ready to book yet, and contact routes are worked into the page itself rather than left to a single contact form at the bottom.

How I choose

What these projects have in common

Every project here was designed and built from scratch for that business. None started from a template, and each one had a specific commercial job to do.

The work spans a wide range: a Grade I listed wedding venue in Somerset, a London PR agency representing global brands, a climate fintech platform raising investment, and a manufacturer who needed a product configurator that did not exist anywhere off the shelf. What connects them is not industry or budget, it is that in each case the website had to achieve something measurable rather than simply exist.

That shapes how I work. Before any design happens I establish what the site has to do: take bookings, generate investor confidence, handle complex product options, or rank for searches the business had been losing. The design follows from that. It is why these sites look quite different from one another rather than sharing a house style with the colours changed.

I am equally happy building a five-page site for a local trade as a platform with custom functionality. The approach does not change with the budget, only the scope does. If you have seen something here that resembles what you need, the fastest route is a short call to talk it through.
