My story
Structure first, design on top
WebOws Design Limited was formally established in 2021 in Gillingham, Kent, built on my industry experience since 2016, and I have delivered more than 200 projects since. I have stayed deliberately small so that the person you speak to is the person who builds your site.
I started WebOws Design for a simple reason: too many small businesses were paying for websites that looked acceptable and did nothing. They had been sold a template, handed a login they did not understand, and left to work out why the phone was not ringing. Meanwhile the businesses ranking above them were not necessarily better at their jobs, they just had sites built with search in mind from the first day.
So the approach here has always been the other way round from most studios. The structure comes first: what pages exist, what each one is for, which searches it should answer. The design happens on top of that skeleton rather than the skeleton being retrofitted into a design. It is less glamorous than opening with a mood board, and it is why my clients rank.
Staying small is a choice rather than a stage I am trying to grow out of. A larger agency has to keep a team busy, which means projects get passed down to whoever is free. Here the work is done by the person who quoted it. That limits how many projects I take at once, and it means nothing gets lost in a handover. The other constant is plain English. Web design is full of language designed to make simple things sound complicated, usually so they can be billed as such. I will tell you what something does, what it costs and whether you need it. If you do not need it, I will say so, even when it would be the more profitable answer.

Design builds the site. SEO gets it found. Most projects use both.
Who will actually work on my website?+
I lead every project and do the design work myself. You are not handed to a junior after the sales call, and you will not be dealing with a different account manager each week. The person you speak to is the person doing the work, from the first call to launch.
What is a Wix Legend Partner?+
Legend is the top tier of the Wix Partner Programme, held by a small number of studios worldwide. It is awarded on delivered work, client satisfaction and platform expertise rather than bought. Practically, it means direct access to Wix support channels and early access to platform features.
Do you work with businesses outside Kent?+
Yes. I am based in Gillingham and a good share of my clients are in Medway and Kent, but I work across the UK and internationally. Everything runs over calls, email and shared preview links, so location rarely matters to how a project goes.
What size of business do you work with?+
Mostly small and medium businesses: sole traders, trades, professional services, venues, and growing e-commerce brands. Projects typically run between £800 and £5,000. I am a good fit for businesses that want senior attention rather than an account managed by a large agency.
