SEO that understands how Wix actually works.
Most SEO agencies treat every platform the same. Wix has its own quirks, tools and limitations, and I work with them daily, not occasionally.

What's included
SEO built for Wix's constraints
Wix Technical SEO
Fixing URL structure, the settings panel and canonical handling, the platform-specific issues generic agencies miss.
Wix Schema & Structured Data
Hand-implemented schema and structured data inside Wix's Custom Code and CMS, not a generic app installed and hoped.
Wix CMS & Collections SEO
CMS and collection pages structured so they're genuinely crawlable and indexable, not just published.
Migration SEO
Migration SEO that protects your rankings when moving onto or off Wix, redirects, sitemap handoffs, indexing continuity.
Why generic advice doesn't work here
I work inside Wix's actual constraints and capabilities, not a generic checklist written for a different platform. What that means in practice is in the FAQ below.
What I actually fix
Duplicate or missing meta descriptions across dynamic pages, orphaned schema left over from Wix's own auto-generated tags, sitemap submission and indexing issues specific to Wix's page structure, and site speed problems caused by unoptimised Wix media and third-party embeds.

Often paired with
Who it's for
Who Wix SEO is for
This is for you if
✓Your site is on Wix or Wix Studio and is not appearing where you would expect
✓You have been told, usually by someone who sells WordPress, that Wix cannot rank
✓You have CMS-driven pages that are not being indexed or are competing with each other
✓You migrated to Wix and traffic dropped afterwards
✓You want SEO from people who know the platform rather than generic advice adapted to it
Look elsewhere if
×Your site isn't on Wix: my general SEO service covers every other platform
×The site itself is fundamentally broken: Wix Rescue deals with that before SEO is worth doing
×You need a new site rather than optimisation of the current one
The decision
Wix's tools, or custom code?
Usually the answer is both. Wix's native tools cover titles, descriptions and sitemaps well; custom code and schema fill the gaps where its defaults fall short.
Common mistakes
Wix SEO mistakes and myths
Believing Wix sites cannot rank
Repeated constantly, usually by people who sell a competing platform. It has not been true for years, and I have Wix sites ranking on page one for competitive commercial terms.
Applying WordPress advice to a Wix site
A checklist written for one platform assumes tools the other doesn't expose. Following it wastes effort or duplicates output rather than fixing anything.
Letting CMS pages generate themselves
Wix will happily produce hundreds of collection pages sharing one title pattern and one description. That is duplicate content at scale.
Ignoring the media library's weight
Wix serves images well, but it cannot undo a library full of enormous uploads. Slow-loading pages fail Core Web Vitals, and on mobile that shows up in both rankings and how many visitors stay.
What it costs
What Wix SEO costs
Foundation SEO is included free with every build I do: page titles and meta descriptions written for search, alt text on every image, correct heading structure, a clean sitemap generated and submitted, and indexing requested at launch. It is not sold separately, because it should never be optional.
WebOws Advanced is a one-off implementation from £300: hand-written JSON-LD schema for your business and services, breadcrumb markup across the site, and validation so it all actually parses, delivered with a written record of what was added and why. Available on any build, or on an existing Wix site I did not build.
WebOws Performance SEO is priced on application and available exclusively with a headless build, because AEO structure, GEO signals and entity markup depend on that architecture's technical control. On a standard Wix site, Advanced is the ceiling, and for most local businesses that is the right place to stop.
How long it takes
How long Wix SEO takes to work
The implementation is usually done within one to two weeks. Meaningful ranking movement on commercial search terms typically takes three to six months after that, and competitive markets take longer.
Week one
Audit & plan
What Wix is doing correctly, what it is not, and which of it is worth fixing first, with the target search terms agreed up front.
One to two weeks
Implementation
Titles, structure, schema and breadcrumbs written, added and validated, delivered as a single piece of work rather than a drip-fed retainer.
Weeks two to six
Recrawl & indexing
Google has to recrawl and reindex the changed pages before any of it counts. Nothing you can speed up beyond submitting the sitemap.
Months three to six
Ranking movement
Where the real waiting happens. Technical work makes a site eligible to rank; the movement itself still takes time.
After launch
What you keep afterwards
Every Advanced implementation ends with a written record of what changed on the site, in plain English. That matters more on Wix than most platforms, because custom code blocks can be dropped during a republish, so if something disappears later, you have a record of what should be there.
Everything I set up stays in your name: Search Console, Analytics, Google Business Profile, and the Wix account itself. I work as a collaborator, never the owner, so if you stop working with me, nothing needs transferring and no history is lost.
If your build includes Performance's ongoing measurement, I keep watching how the site is cited and how it performs on the terms and areas that matter to you, rather than treating launch day as the finish line.
Questions
Wix SEO FAQs
Is SEO different on Wix?+
Yes, meaningfully. Wix handles technical SEO, redirects, and page rendering differently to WordPress or Squarespace, and generic SEO advice often doesn't apply directly.
Can you fix SEO on a site someone else built?+
Yes, this is one of my most common jobs. I regularly inherit and fix Wix sites built or optimised elsewhere.
Do you offer GEO on Wix specifically?+
Yes. Generative Engine Optimisation, getting referenced by AI tools like ChatGPT, works within Wix's structure the same way, and I build it into every Wix SEO project.
Will switching to Wix hurt my existing SEO?+
Not if it's migrated properly. Redirects, schema, and sitemap handoff need to be done correctly, which is exactly what I manage during a migration.
